    Duties include, but are not limited to:  trouble-shoot, repair and replace electrical components, dismantle and remove electrical cables and wiring, install new equipment – including running of electrical conduit, understand and comply with all safety and electrical codes


    Minimum qualifications:

    * Able to read blueprints
    * Previous electrical experience – preferably in an industrial setting
    * Able to drive a forklift or willing to undertake forklift training
    * Able to work outside in all weather
    * Able to lift up to 75-100 pounds
    * Able to read and write
    * Able to use basic mathematics
    * Able to stand/walk on concrete/stairs for duration of shift
    * Able to pass mechanical aptitude test
    * Able to use ladders
    * Able to use lift trucks (i.e. – Snorkel Lift / bucket lift)
    * Able to use various hand tools and power tools
    * Able to work with a group or unsupervised
    * Ability to work various shifts and ‘on-call’ as needed

    * Preferred Block Certified or Journeyman Electrician
    * Use 2-way radios
    * Wear task-specific PPE (personal protective equipment)
    * Comply with all safe work practices and procedures
    * Keep work areas clean and tidy at all times
